The Generosity of Small Spaces

It is easy to think of a small space as limited. Yet a well-considered small space is often more generous than a large but scattered one.

Limits sharpen a design. When every square metre has a purpose, the unnecessary falls away on its own. A niche, a window seat, or a concealed cupboard — small spaces give rise to the most inventive solutions.

Generosity is not a matter of size but of feeling. The right light, the right proportion, and a few honest materials make even a small room feel open, warm, and enough.
